Are there any Harry Potter picture books available?

I am planning to read the first Harry Potter book to my 6 year old son. He is skeptical because there aren't any pictures. So I thought I would give him a picture book, or an illustrated Harry Potter "encyclopedia" or guide to look at whiile I read him the book. But I just can't find any. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I found some coloring pages on Harry Potter. You could read him the book while he colors.

Nope.

You should watch abit of the movies so that you have a general idea about how the characterslook like.

then just use your imagination while you read the books! http://answers.yahoo.com/question/accuse_write?qid=20070501185036AAJ8eIA&kid=EZpbLmThI0_Vp5h131mo&s=comm&date=2008-10-04+08%3A36%3A43&.crumb=

No they dont.

Try imagining them, thats the fun part.

Watch a Harry potter movie to get an idea of how they look like, and imagine the rest. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/accuse_write?qid=20070501185036AAJ8eIA&kid=AZZkC0TZJkHSDsW1mjDe&s=comm&date=2008-11-09+03%3A07%3A47&.crumb=

im sorry to say this but im afraid they dont make them, because harry potter is ranging for teenagers and thats why they only have limited pictures!

One of the main reasons that they do not officially make picture books is because much of the content is meant toward, uh, slightly older readers, and to inspire kids to read in the first place. May I suggest you buy/rent the movie and show clips of it as you read (still frames would work, too)

I don't know of any books like that. The only thing I know to suggest is try going to www.mugglenet.com and clicking on the fan art. There are tons of illustrations there. You can pick out the ones you like and print them out. Good luck.
