In the Harry Potter books: How do giants and humans have sex?

I'm watching Harry Potter 4 on cable and just realized that Hagrid and his woman are both 1/2 giant. But after seeing the giant in the 5th movie, I have to wonder how that could happen.

Giants are about 20 feet tall. How could this physically work? Is there some expert out there on Harry Potter mythology that can explain this? Perhaps there is some spell that transfers the sperm or something.. Somebody figure this out.

For crying out loud, it's just a STORY! And plenty of creatures in nature seem to manage, even when the male and female are quite different in size, so you never know.
