Awh i was well lookin forward to watching it! Looks awesome!
Also has it been pushed back in England aswell? Or is it just the USA? Confused here!
Well, actually, I thought it was clever for Warner Bros. to that: postponing to mid-summer. Because, who watches Harry Potter really?
Young Adults. . .
And when do they have time? Summer vacation. . .
With that said, Harry Potter might make more than it has for the last 7 years. With the highest grossing with the first movie: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone: $317,575,550 domestic.
W.B. trying to bring back the fundamental of the worth of the movie.
I HATE IT. NO MATTER WHEN THE RELEASE IT THEY ARE GOING TO MAKE TONS OF MONEY BUT I LIKE TO GO AROUND X MAS AND THE FACT THAT ITS XMAS IN THE MOVIE TOO IS FUN. I LOVE THE X MAS TREES AND PRESENTS IN THE MOVIE. AND IVE BEEN DOING IT FOR 5 YEARS NOW :< http://answers.yahoo.com/question/accuse_write?qid=20080914112350AAjGN8Y&kid=LYxdD0m7End4NTWghVmY&s=comm&date=2008-09-27+20%3A05%3A29&.crumb=
This has nothing to do with the writers strike first of all, the movie is already complete. I personally disagree with them and I think that its going to hurt them. Im going to go see it whenever it comes out, but from of the things that I have heard from the die hard fans they will be boycotting WB. I think that when it comes out everyone will go to see it just as if it came out in november, and everyone who is saying they are not is just talking smack. Like I said, I dont like it, but im not going to go ape **** about it, its just a movie, and the books are way better anyways, plus there will be a new book in Dec- not harry potter, but a tales of beetle the bard, so you know dont pout all you 13 yo's at least you got something to look foward to in the summer right.
The film was pushed back worldwide. Warner Brothers talked about the writers-strike this spring and that there aren't many films with blockbuster-potential next year, so they pushed back Potter. Sounds a bit wired if you think about the fact that Warner Brothers released The Dark Knight this year, which is the biggest success in their history. I guess they earned enough for the next decade
It's been pushed back in England as well. There were rumours that it was still coming out in the USA in November though. :)
I was devastated when I saw it, I had just come back from a holiday and while I was away my friends had done a vote on who should tell me because I'm a very obsessive HP fan. They thought I would get really mad but I just cried... :'(
Grrr. I had a countdown on my HP website and everything! They shouldn't go around saying "Ok. The next movie comes out in November 2008. No wait JULY 2009!!!" They make us look forward to seeing it in just a couple months and then they push it back almost a YEAR! It made me soo mad! >.< Hm. I think they would have pushed in back in England too. Otherwise, the die hard HP fans [myself included] would go running to England to see the movie. I hope that helps!
Hey, yeah its really annoyed me! Im english and it was supposed to be released something like November 24th but now its next year! it's so annoying i am such a die-hard fan and crave it.
I am outraged as well! I was already making plans to go see it! Warner bros pushed it back because of Twilight coming out around that time. It would pull money away from the HP movie supposedly.
The desicion reall pissed me off! I wanted to see the new Harry Potter movie so bad!!! I'm a total fan!! i can't wait untill next summer though. Gives me something to look forward to.
I think that this is the worse idea WB has had ever! It's being pushed back everywhere, so just hopping on a plane to England to see it won't work :(
i'm outraged! seriously! i was very much looking forward to the november release date. damn movie people...
i don't really care...
