JK Rowling, the writer behind the Harry Potter books, put a lot into the famous book series. You can find a lot of interesting facts about Harry Potter online, but it is hard to come by some of the reasons how it came about. The Secret Behind Harry Potter's Popularity

Many articles have been written on the subject of Harry Potter and his remarkable appeal to the mass market, but that's not going to stop me putting in my five cents on the subject.

I came to Harry Potter late myself, having dismissed the books as something for children for several years. It was a silly dismissal on my part since I can name several children's books that I still happily read. However, a couple of years ago the staggering media coverage of The film forced me to read the books to see what all the fuss was about. Since then, like most others, I was captivated.

I have read all the Harry Potter books to see the films and read many articles on various aspects of both Harry and JK Rowling and I believe I have identified two important elements for the success of Harry Potter. I make no claim that these are the only elements, but I think they are of central importanceits appeal to both children and adults.

GROWING UP ALONG WITH THE READER

An obvious feature of the Harry Potter novels is that Harry ages. With every book one years pass. This may not be unique to Harry Potter, it is unusual for a writer to keep up with a single function character for so many years. Particularly when those years encompass the key ages ten to seventeen years.

As a result of this and the fact that the books comeworked out over a roughly nine years released (probably ten at the time of the last book) is that children who grew up reading the Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's / Philosopher's Stone effectively with Harry Potter.

Whether by accident or design, it seems that JK Rowling that the increasing maturity in both Harry and her audience, as he has said against that gradually darker and more complex in theirCharacterization.

This reflection of Harry's growth to adulthood reflected growth in the same convenient, that Rowling core audience enjoyed. The Five Best Harry Potter Fancy Dress Costumes

Since the first Harry Potter book in 1997, children and adults alike were released, had come under the spell of the boy wizard and his life at Hogwarts School. Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone and the following six pounds, and the related films have a world full of amazing characters, a magical world of witchcraft and sorcery, and a brand new game - Quidditch.

1. Dementors.

This has to be one of the scariest costumes around as befits these foul soul-sucking creatures that guard the wizard prison of Azkaban. These creatures have a human shape, are at least ten feet tall and wear dark, hooded cloaks that reveal their horrible gray and falling hands. You do not have no eyes and have a hole instead of their mouths. They feed on positive emotions and happy memories of other people and force them to relive their worst memories and sucking their souls. These are wicked and wild creatures - sign of the great Halloween costumes.

2. Voldemort.

Lord Voldemort is evil and feared wizard and the archenemy of Harry Potter. He quitelacking normal human feelings and reactions and has no desire, friendship or love. His desire to secure, immense power and immortality, makes it extremely powerful and ruthless. Once upon a time Voldemort was very nice, but it was discussed in a monster transformed. He is tall and thin, without hair, yellow teeth, red eyes, long fingernails and blue, no nose and a snake as a slot for the nose. He wears a long, dark black robe and carries a rod, a handle, made of the displayof bone.

3. Death Eaters.

The Death Eaters are a small group of witches and wizards who are followers of Voldemort. They commit many evil crimes. You can recognize each other through the dark patch on the left forearm, which was created by Voldemort in order to quickly call in his presence. She wore black, as a rule, hooded robes and masks, but wore in the movie Goblet of Fire skull masks with pointed hats. In the Order of the Phoenix Metal wore masks and purpleRobes.
